Terms & Conditions.

I understand that I am responsible for
all bikes relating to hire agreement.
We are all competent cyclists. Despite this I recognise that we will
be riding bicycles with which we may not be fully familiar and as
such we will exercise additional care and caution.
I understand that Cycle Cotswolds lends bikes on the understanding
that every rider can change gears properly, adjust the saddle height
and at least one person in the group knows how to fix a puncture.
I understand that that I may be responsible for any damage caused to
land or livestock, off the permitted cycling routes.
I understand that in the event of mechanical failure other than
punctures, Cycle Cotswolds will offer a breakdown service for the
cycle but not for individuals. The emergency number 07933368074.
I understand that refunds are only given per bike (not group) and
only if Cycle Cotswolds could not restore the journey or allow extra
time to complete the ride. Once a Hire period of 1 hour has expired,
Cycle Cotswolds determines that each rider is satisfied with their
cycle and equipment provided and no refunds can be given for
bicycles deemed unsuitable for their purpose.
I recognise that cycling can be dangerous and understand the risks
involved.
I understand the recommendation of Cycle Cotswolds to use the
helmets and the safety vest provided.
We will not undertake any manoeuvre which is beyond our level of
skill.
I declare, we are in good health and that our eyesight is up to the
standard required for a road driving test. We are not suffering
from any medical conditions or disability which is likely to
adversely affect our normal control of the bicycle.
I confirm that I will be responsible for the payment of any
surcharge levied as a result of the bicycles being returned later
than the agreed time or damaged.
I confirm that I will be responsible for the payment of any damage
(including third party) caused as a consequence of my dangerous
cycling, loss of
control or negligence.
I fully indemnify Cycle Cotswolds against claims of injury to myself
or any third party unless it can be proven that Cycle Cotswolds did
not fulfil
reasonable maintenance procedures for the equipment being used.
Any cancellations must be made by 9am at least 1 day prior to hire
or the total cost will be charged. We therefore suggest that you
purchase insurance to cover against any eventualities which may
cause cancellation.
Free delivery and collection, when the minimum value of the hire is
£20 and is within 4 miles, thereafter supplement of £1 per mile
will be applicable.
Service by appointments only, minimum 24 hours notice required.
Payment upon bike collection for full rental period Payment by cash
or cheque only.
Please note that nothing will be charged to your credit card,
however the credit card will be pre-authorized for value of rented
equipment before hiring.
This Agreement is covered by English Law. In the event that any part
of this Agreement is for any reason unenforceable the remainder
shall remain in full force and effect.
We recommend you take out Personal Accident Insurance if you are not
a competent cyclist. |
